Almost There
Hello Everyone!
Now, I’m no macroeconomy expert, but during my time in crypto this cycle I’ve met more self-proclaimed ones than I ever have before.
They always start to get the loudest about an impending recession right as things are bottoming and turning around. While it’s not foolproof, it has been almost as consistent as any data metric I have watched.
November 2022… FTX had just collapsed and the majority consensus among commenters was that 10 - 12k was next alongside a recession. What I saw over and over again were these statements:
“Bitcoin can’t rally in these macro conditions”
“A recession is coming soon, it’s stupid to invest now”
“You don’t understand the macro”
To which I would reply and still do, maybe not, but I trust the data to do its work and I believe in the power of the Bitcoin cycle to carry us through.
March 2020 left a sour taste in many people’s mouths. What most people fail to realize is that a catastrophic event like that is extremely rare. It’s only been 4 years since it happened.
If that’s true, it means that most of our time will be spent with normal price action. How many doomsayers do you know that predict recession after recession after black swan to no avail? It’s because more often than not, the market will perform optimistically.

What does this have to do with Altcoins?
If we want Bitcoin and Altcoins to thrive then it’s important to make sure that the overall market is set to thrive.

People ask, “How could we possibly be on the brink of Altseason?” and we’ll be talking about that as well.
We’ve all lost sight of what’s possible through the dreary price action that came after March 2024, but the time will come again when the opposite will be true and people ask “How could a bear market ever come?”. Remember, this was the popular sentiment in January - March this year. The masses have a short memory.
